Vegas December Weather

Las Vegas December Weather won't remind you of the weather in the northern parts of the US, but it's a bit chilly, and can get occasionally get wet. The really nice December weather in Las Vegas is a few degrees above normal, sunny and warm. The less enjoyable weather can include clouds, wind and rain. You may want to delay your walk until 9:00 am or later, or walk inside the Las Vegas casinos or shopping malls. December weather conditions in Las Vegas can be blustery or they can be really nice. December is a good time for you to visit Las Vegas, usually, but it's going to be cooler than Florida or Southern California.

December is also one of the best months to get a low rate on a hotel room, as there are fewer conventions and people worry about the holidays, although the National Finals Rodeo does bring excitement and cowboys to town in the beginning of the month. The Las Vegas casinos are sometimes more fun when they are less crowded around Christmas.

Golf is possible in December on most days, but the mornings can be cold enough that frost may be on the greens and delay tee times. Many courses have a shotgun start after 9:00am, be sure to ask any course you are considering playing if that is what is done there. The Suncoast Hotel is in the middle of many fiune golf courses.
