Las Vegas PrecipitationIt doesn't rain very often in Las Vegas, but it does happen. January, February, and March in Las Vegas can have cloudy days with off-and-on rain, while July and August in Las Vegas can have thunderstorms that will create flooding. Flooding is really the major weather concern in Las Vegas, if you ever find yourself in town when a significant rain storm hits, do yourself and everyone else a favor and stay off the roads. Even more rare, but possible, is snow. It had been almost 30 years since a significant amount of snow has fallen, but in 2008 it happened again, and 3.6 inches of snow fell in one day. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
